Marine Station Data

Once a week, various marine environment parameters are sampled off the School of Marine Sciences, at the Ruppin Marine Station. Sampling is conducted at bottom depths of 11 and 48 meters, and the sampled parameters include physical data (temperature and salinity) and chemical data (chlorophyll and oxygen concentrations), measured using automatic sensors, as well as seawater samples taken to the laboratory to measure extracted chlorophyll concentration and the concentrations of various components of the microorganism community using a Flow Cytometer.
